A Vision for the Future

I am truly honored to introduce myself as the new CEO of Mahoney | CPAs and Advisors. Today, I want to take a moment to share a bit about myself, my vision for Mahoney, and the values that will continue to guide our firm’s success into the future.

My journey with Mahoney began in 2006, and it has been an incredible experience, thanks in large part to the exceptional team of peers and colleagues I have had the privilege to work with – both past and present. I began my career in our Audit Solutions Team and moved to our Real Estate Solutions Team in 2012. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work closely with some of the brightest minds in the CPA and real estate industries, gaining valuable insights into their unique financial needs and challenges. Together, we have tackled challenges, celebrated successes, and built lasting relationships.

As the new CEO, my primary goal is to build on the solid foundation of Mahoney’s culture, which has propelled us to where we are today. One of the hallmarks of Mahoney has always been our collaborative and supportive culture that fosters teamwork and creates a positive work environment. I am proud to have worked alongside colleagues who are not only exceptional professionals but also genuine, compassionate individuals. These values have been the cornerstone of Mahoney, and I am dedicated to preserving and nurturing this culture.

Outside of the office, I am married to my wife (Heather) and we have two wonderful boys (Owen 10 and Finnly 7). Family is a driving force in my life, and it influences the way I approach leadership at Mahoney.

One of my favorite pastimes is spending time outdoors. Whether it is hiking, camping, or simply enjoying a quiet moment in nature, I find solace and inspiration in the great outdoors. Recently, I have been pursuing a unique passion project—a backyard ice rink. We have had an ice rink for the last several years, and while the weather this winter has not been entirely cooperative, it has been an exciting endeavor that reminds me of the importance of embracing change, being resilient, and being curious and eager to exploring new ideas. Despite the warm weather earlier in December, the boys were recently able to skate on the ice!!

As we move forward, I am enthusiastic about the future of Mahoney, thanks in no small part to the incredible people who make up our team and our clients. Together, we will take advantage of our opportunities and face challenges head-on. Our team, both past and present, is the heart of Mahoney, and I am honored to lead us into the next chapter of our journey.
