Our Promise

Mahoney is deeply committed to fostering strong community ties and making a positive impact through active involvement. Our promise to community involvement is rooted in the belief that by working together, we can create a more vibrant, inclusive, and supportive environment for everyone. We engage in various initiatives, from volunteering at community clean-up events and organizing fundraising campaigns to supporting educational programs and local businesses. Our employees our encouraged to participate in these efforts, reflecting our collective dedication to giving back and making a tangible difference in the lives of those around us. 

We understand that true community involvement goes beyond mere participation; it requires a genuine commitment to understanding and addressing the unique needs of our community. Making a Difference

Mahoney team members embrace new opportunities through our DEIB committee, community partnerships and a supportive environment that enables people of diverse backgrounds and perspectives to be welcomed, heard and successful.

We continue to prioritize our efforts to build a diverse and inclusive workforce in a culture of respect and dignity for all. This includes reaching out to our community in various ways.

We do this at the corporate level as well as individually. Mahoney’s volunteer committee sponsors volunteer events, and our team members have helped with a variety of projects:

    • Planted and cleaned-up gardens
    • Outdoor yard work and clean up at apartment projects and parks
    • Interior clean-up projects in common areas of apartment buildings
    • Work on a Habitat for Humanity house
    • Assembled school supplies and student meals
    • Food drives and school supply drives
    • Adopted families at Christmas with gifts and food

Many of our team members also volunteer on boards that appreciate the financial expertise they bring to the organization or that showcase their personal passions. For example, one of our team members loves dogs and volunteers at events for an animal sanctuary. Another serves as the treasurer for their child’s sports club. There are many ways to get involved here.
