Team members actively impact our firm’s understanding, growth and DEIB goals by sharing their ideas, initiatives and experiences. By influencing change and promoting diversity, inclusion and equity, we build upon the shared respect, character and future of our firm as well as our community.

Community and Pro Bono Work

Mahoney team members embrace new opportunities through our DEIB committee, community partnerships and a supportive environment that enables people of diverse backgrounds and perspectives to be welcomed, heard and successful.

We continue to prioritize our efforts to build a diverse and inclusive workforce in a culture of respect and dignity for all. This includes reaching out to our community in various ways.

We do this at the corporate level as well as individually. Mahoney’s volunteer committee sponsors volunteer events, and our team members have helped with a variety of projects:

    • Planted and cleaned-up gardens
    • Outdoor yard work and clean up at apartment projects and parks
    • Interior clean-up projects in common areas of apartment buildings
    • Work on a Habitat for Humanity house
    • Assembled school supplies and student meals
    • Food drives and school supply drives
    • Adopted families at Christmas with gifts and food

Many of our team members also volunteer on boards that appreciate the financial expertise they bring to the organization or that showcase their personal passions. For example, one of our team members loves dogs and volunteers at events for an animal sanctuary. Another serves as the treasurer for their child’s sports club. There are many ways to get involved here.
